Vessel Elements in Equisetum ramosissimum Desf.

Abstract

Occurrence of vessel elements has been reported in the rhizome, stem and roots of Equisetum ramosissimum. These are studied by maceration technique. Nodal and internodal vessel elements are different morphologically. The vessel elements in roots are similar to those of the internode.
