Hyphomycetes from Warangal - I

Abstract

Seven hyphomycetes from Andhra Pradesh are described. Conoplea mangenotii Reis, and Haplochalara angulospora Linder, form new generic records, while Acremoniella verrucosa Tognini, Ceratocystis fimbriata Ellis and Halst, and Veronaea apiculata Miller, Giddens and Foster, form new species records for India. The taxonomic position of Haplochalara angulospora Linder is also discussed. Beltrania querna Harkn. and Stachybotrys sinuatophora Matsushima are new to South India.
