Abstract
92. Campylopus refractus J.-P. Frahm is described as new from New Caledonia. This raises the number of Campylopus species in New Caledonia to seven. It is so far the only species of Campylopus endemic to New Caledonia. 93. Campylopus acuminatus Mitt., a species of subantarctic distribution, is recorded for the first time from South Africa. It is perhaps introduced, since it was found in a botanical garden. 94. Campylopus nano-caudatus C. Müll. nom. nud. turned out to be a species of Chorisodontium 95. Campylopus mandonii Schimp. nom. nud. proved to be C. nivalis (Brid.) Brid. var. multicapsularis (C. Müll.) J.-P. Frahm. 96. Campylopus sericeoides Dix. was so far regarded as endemic to Mt. Kinabalu, Borneo. It is reported now for the first time from Flores, Indonesia. 97. Campylopus paludicola Broth. has proved to be synonymous with Campylopus pyriformis (Schultz) Brid. 98. Campylopus tijucae Broth. nom. nud. is identical with C. widgrenii (C. Müll.) Mitt. Its sporophyte is described here for the first time. 99. Campylopus sehnemii Bartr. from SE-Brazil is synonymous with C. julicaulis Broth. 100. Campylopus gracilis (Mitt.) Jaeg. has proved to be an older name for C. schwarzii Schimp. 101. Campylopus torrentis Thér. known before only from Gabon and Nigeria has a disjunct occurrence in SE-Brazil, where it had been collected as Thysanomitrion subnigerimum nom. dub.
