Abstract
During 2019 to 2021, powdery mildew symptoms were observed on both surfaces of leaves of oak trees in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan. After morpho-anatomical and molecular analyses, the causal agents were identified as Cystotheca quercina and Erysiphe quercicola that are new records for Pakistan. DNA data are provided for C. quercina for the first time. Quercus baloot is a new host record for a species of powdery mildews.
